Tyler Gill

President

Tyler Gill currently serves as President of the CBGS Education Foundation.

A 2004 graduate of the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School, Tyler received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2008.  He is currently a Project Manager/Transportation Engineer with RS&H in Glen Allen, VA where, as a professional civil engineer, he focuses on roadway planning, design, construction, and consulting.

A Director on the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School Education Foundation since 2014, Mr. Gill has recently been on the board of the TideNeck Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association and a member of the Essex County Planning Commission.

As an alumni, Tyler knows first hand the opportunities and experiences that are provided to the students of CBGS.  His desire is that the same high impact education be available to all current and future students.  He is proud to serve on the CBGS Education Foundation and to give back to a program that influences so many.

Together with his wife Kristen, daughter Anne-Marie, and black lab Grady; Tyler now calls Goochland County home.  He enjoys being a father, spending time on the golf course, and being outdoors whenever possible.
